Dave Wilbert Gettin' There.jpg

DAVE WILBERT

Saturday April 23rd
noon-1pm

Dave Wilbert is a forward-facing traditionalist with a deep appreciation of the clever, relatable lyrics that defined ‘90s Country. For his current country debut, the ardent outdoorsman from Fernvale, TN, has assembled a creative team that contributed to the emergence of ‘90s Country and contemporary hits including producer/songwriter Kerry Kurt Phillips, the co-writer of Tim McGraw’s smash “Down On The Farm.” Like his musical inspirations, Wilbert is drawn to good stories because he has lived so many. His sound is a fusion of the music he heard growing up in North Vernon, IN, including classic country and folk music favored by his schoolteacher parents and the rock icons popular with his three brothers. His journey has been longer than expected, but his motivation has remained steadfast: “My all-time favorite song is Hank Williams Jr’s ‘A Country Boy Can Survive.’  I loved it because I lived it,” said Wilbert.  “ Music to me is sharing the stories of everyday life and everyday people.  Good honest music; it’s not more complicated than that.”

Bailey travels between North and South Carolina, as well as Nashville, delivering his red dirt country voice to audiences of all ages. When he is not on stage or songwriting this down home boy loves being in the woods, hunting and fishing, or watching sports. Bailey looks forward to more opportunities of creating a sound that leaves his audience tapping a foot and bobbing a head.

THE MAGI
DAMIEN HORNE

Sunday April 24th
Noon-2pm

Based in Nashville, TN, Damien Horne (The Farm), Kenny Carter (Waterdeep, Trump Dawgs), and David “DJ” Lee (Scratch Track) have merged their individual talents as artists, songwriters, and producers. After years of performing in colleges, clubs, and churches, these three have joined forces to bring a positive and encouraging musical experience to uplift souls and inspire a wide variety of audiences. By mixing bass grooves, beatboxing, acoustic guitar, and Soul-Felt vocals, The Magi create an organic sound that is unique and specifically their own.
Typically a band creates a song, but the song "Try" actually created a band.
“The three of us got together to write one day last year. Before we started, we chatted about our lives, individual music careers, struggles and passions. Then I started a beatboxing loop and Kenny & Damien jumped right in groovin’ and next thing I knew we had what felt like a really unique and honest song,“ says Lee. “As soon as we finished that day, I remember Damien saying ‘we should play shows like this —as the three of us.’
Carter agrees, "It just so happens that this song reflects the current emotion worldwide as it mirrors the human struggle to be better, to make things better and to never give up on that struggle."
Damien Horne adds, “We are a brotherhood. We want our music to unite people. The Magi is all about inspiring & encouraging souls with a positive message that the world desperately needs in this present time.”
